I was exceptionally lucky to be asked to work on the London 2012 Olympic Games as the ‘Voice of God’ Stadium Announcer for the Closing Ceremony, and the Opening and Closing Ceremony of the Paralympic Games.
With my fellow announcer, Marc Edwards, here’s our final sign off, as we say goodbye to the world from London at the end of a fantastic games.

The London 2012 Paralympic Games were an equally exhilarating experience, and London and the world embraced them.
Here, my fellow announcer Marc Edwards and I announce the arrival of the Paralympic Flame and the Lighting of the Cauldron during the Opening Ceremony.

In 2015 I was asked to be the English Ceremonies Announcer for the First European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan. Again, a wonderful experience and and a chance to work in an amazing country.
Our top secret headliner for the Opening Ceremony was Lady Gaga. Here, I voice the Athletes’ dedication and my fellow announcer, Tural Asodov, and I introduce Lady Gaga.
Doha 2006
.The Doha 2006 Asian Games were the first International Games I worked on as the English Stadium Announcer / ‘Voice of God’.
A baptism of fire, and a highly rewarding learning experience which equipped me for the London Olympic Games in 2012, and three further International Games.

In 2017 I had the opportunity to go to Turkmenistan to be the English Ceremonies Announcer for the Asian & Martial Arts Games. A wonderful chance to visit a memorable country and take part in a unique experience.
